Floor To Ceiling®
Do a Personal Goals Survey
An honest assessment of the kitchen you now have is a good place to start.  Identify the problems in the current color scheme, design layout or storage.  Write down what you want to improve in the new room.  To help you think through issues, take the Kitchen Assessment Survey.  Once you have completed it, return here to define your goals and complete your evaluation of products. It is helpful to start a scrapbook of ideas you collect from magazines, websites and other sources, then share it with your Floor To Ceiling® designer.  This will save time and help the designer turn your priorities and your dreams into reality.  As with every worthwhile project, careful planning is one of the keys to achieving success.

Goals Survey
Setting goals is an important first step on your way to a totally delightful kitchen remodeling experience.  We suggest you take time to write out your answers, then be prepared to share them with your Floor To Ceiling® designer.

  1. What is my most important goal for remodeling the kitchen ?  Answers may include updating the style, adding counter or storage space, enlarging the space, add seating, etc.
  2. What do I like about the current design?  Answers may be the floor tile, the double bowl sink, the over-the-range microwave, etc.
  3. What do I dislike most about the current room?  Answers may be lack of grocery storage, not enough eating or counter work space, the outdated appearance, etc.
  4. Do I plan to stay in this home for 5, 10 or more years? This is important and should influence your choices.  If you are remodeling for your own enjoyment over a long period, it makes sense to go for the gold. Kitchen remodeling remains one of the most reliable investments you can make in your home, typically returning over 100% per dollar invested.
